Serum creatinine was higher after HOPE at postoperative day (POD) 7 (4.9 ± 2.2 mg/dl vs. 3.7 ± 3.2/ mg/dl p = 0.033) and POD 14 (4.1 ± 2.5 mg/dl vs. 2.6 ± 2.1 mg/dl p = 0.034).
