From: Fluorescent enzyme-coupled activity assay for phenylalanine ammonia-lyases
Testing different cellular densities ranging from OD600 ~ 1–10 of the FDC1 whole cell-biocatalyst within the combined PAL-FDC1 fluorescent activity assay. The corresponding negative controls (NC) were obtained under similar assay conditions, but without using PcPAL whole cells.
