(B) Time course of current and voltage generated by the air–cathode MFC to power the LVBM system. The output current corresponds to the measured current after boosting the voltage with the LVBM system. MFC voltage is the output voltage when the air–cathode MFC is connected to the LVBM system to charge the supercapacitor.
