(I) and (II) show the drying evolution of the first order statistics (FOS) parameters (the mean on the left y-axis and the standard deviation (SD) on the right y-axis of the graph). The dashed lines in (I) display the time duration of the presence of the peak-like feature in the contact angle measurements from \(\phi \) of 100 to 62% (v/v). The red rectangle and the red circle illustrate the first and the second peaks respectively in the SD. The star introduces the initial dip in the SD values observed from \(62\%\) (v/v) onwards.
