Sectorization of the macula. The built-in OCT software automatically analyzed the mean retinal thickness and volume in each of the nine macular regions in a 6-mm-diameter circle that was centered on the fovea, as defined in ETDRS. The diameter of the central circle was 1Â mm, that of the inner ring was 3Â mm, and that of the outer ring was 6Â mm.
