From: Imaging atelectrauma in Ventilator-Induced Lung Injury using 4D X-ray microscopy
HES staining of the lung tissue and corresponding in vivo dynamic 3D microscopy for Rabbit 3. On the HES images, the regions of interest chosen for the qualitative evaluation are shown, using a color coding representing the score given by the pathologist. The regions of interest were chosen in areas showing R/D in the CT and in areas not showing it, in order to compare the spatial distribution of R/D and injury.
