Hazard ratios (HRs) and 95% confidence intervals (CIs) for liver cancer mortality according to the presence of depressive symptoms in clinically relevant subgroups. Estimated from Cox proportional hazard models using age as a timescale to estimate HRs and 95% CIs. Multivariable model was adjusted for age (timescale), sex, center, year of screening exam, smoking status, alcohol consumption, total energy intake, physical activity, body mass index, education level, history of diabetes, history of hypertension, history of cardiovascular diseases, HBsAg positivity, family history of cancer, medication for liver disease, and Fibrosis-4 scores.
