Spatial variation in RWC as a function of drying time, taken as repeated scans in a line across a leaf sample of Vitis vinifera. The photograph on the left (shown inset) indicates the region (in red) across which the THz transmission measurements were made in a repeated manner, as the leaf dried in ambient laboratory conditions. In the plot, the midrib occupies the region of the scan at ~ 13 mm, and the region of a vein is at ~ 4 mm.
