[1H, 15N] Backbone NOE values in the presence of saturating Ca2+. [1H, 15N] backbone heteronuclear NOE values for WT CaM in the presence of 6 mM CaCl2 (top). Relative differences in NOEs for M52Q-CaM, and M125Q-CaM are shown in the lower panels. NOE values for each residue were determined by taking the ratio between the peak intensities of the saturated and unsaturated spectra. Error bars represent the uncertainty in each NOE value, determined relative to the baseline noise level in the saturated and unsaturated spectra. Dashed lines indicate the average NOE of each domain. NMR Spectra were analyzed using NMRFAM-Sparky46.
