Stress-responsive gene expression. Transcription analyses of oxyR and sigG1 expression in S. tsukubaensis mutant strains, upon a H2O2 stimulus evaluated by RT-qPCR. The Mean Normalised Fold Expression of the target genes was calculated relatively to the transcription of the reference genes (rpsP and hrdB) and internal normalisation was performed using the wild-type as the control. Results are representative of three biological replicates. Statistically significant differences to the wild-type were determined by one-way ANOVA followed by a Dunnet’s test (GraphPad Prism).
