Serum lipase and amylase levels were restored in mice fed a soy-tomato enriched diet. C57BL/6 mice were injected intraperitoneally with 50 µg/kg caerulein (7 hourly injections, twice weekly) for 6 weeks. Mice across all groups were fed a control diet from the start. After 4 weeks of injections, one group was fed a soy-tomato enriched dietary intervention. At study endpoint, whole blood from mice was collected and serum was stored following centrifugation. Serum (A) lipase and (B) amylase were analyzed by the Alfa Wassermann VetAce analyzer. N = 5 mice/group (*p < 0.05).
