Confirmation of VGLL3 as a pregnancy-specific marker in first trimester maternal plasma. By RT-qPCR of cell-free plasma RNA obtained from an independent first trimester cohort, VGLL3 was confirmed to be pregnancy-specific (p-value 0.003). All pregnant samples were positive except one. CSH1 is included for comparison.
