The Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test for the mean-IoU data in Table 2. The graph obtained from the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks test using the Statistics and Machine Learning Toolbox of Matlab2018b. Statistical toolbox showed a negative ranges value that was higher than the positive ranges value. The p value of this test was 2.56E−28 less than the significance value. So we can conclude that a statistically significant difference appeared between both methods and that the proposed method (New_skel) indicated a significant improvement over the classic method (classical_skel).
