From: GaInP nanowire arrays for color conversion applications
Color conversion results from 405 to ~ 660 nm for micro-square (MS) and tapered nanowire (NW) arrays embedded in PDMS with a spot size of ~ 17 μm and power density of ~ 2.65 μW/μm2. (a) Schematic indicating the sample orientation, direction for which the emitted PL light was measured, and the resulting PL spectra. The observed oscillations are due to interference effects due to the experimental configuration. Top view microscope images of the embedded MS and tapered NW array structures, respectively: before excitation (b,c) and under excitation (d,e), respectively. For the images in (d,e), a 405 nm notch filter was used before the camera objective.
