Cytotoxicity studies of (a) F2 Gtn-Tyr hydrogel-only, (b) siScramble loaded Gtn-Tyr hydrogel and (c) siSPARC loaded Gtn-Tyr hydrogel as compared to controls (d) untreated cells and (e) apoptosis-induced cells. After treated for 7 days, C57Bl6/J MTFs were stained by Guava Nexin reagent containing 7-AAD/Annexin-V-PE and analysed by flow cytometry. In the four windows of each plot, the lower-left indicates healthy cells, the lower right indicates early apoptotic cells, and the upper right indicates late-phase apoptotic cells or necrotic cells.
