Effects of ABA on seed germination of the Col wild type, the 35S:AITRL transgenic plants and the aitrl mutants. Seeds of the Col wild type, the 35S:AITRL transgenic plants and the aitrl mutants were sterilized and sown on solidified 0.5 × MS salts plates in the presence or absence of 0.5 µM ABA. The plates were kept at 4 °C in darkness for 3 days before transferred to a growth room. Germinated seeds were counted every 12 h after the transfer till all the seeds were germinated, and percentage of seed germination was calculated. Data represent the mean ± SD of three replicates.
