Concentration-dependent effects of CUR, RES and SFN on cell viability in RAW 264.7 macrophages. RAW 264.7 macrophages were exposed for 24 h to CUR, RES or SFN at increasing concentrations of (5, 10 or 20 µM) alone (A) or with LPS (10 ng/mL) plus IFN-γ (10 U/mL) in the presence of DOX (0.1 µM) (B). Cell cytotoxicity was measured using MTT assay. Data are expressed as a percentage of control (at 100%) ± S.E. (n = 8). Comparisons are made with ANOVA followed by Student–Newman–Keuls (SNK) post-hoc test; *, P < 0.05, compared with control; $, P < 0.05, compared with LPS/IFN-γ plus DOX group.
