Bottom panels depict vertical (d) salinity, (e) nitrate, and (f) phytoplankton distributions along the center section of the river plume indicated by the black lines on the second row of panels. The black line marks the main streamline of the riverine output flows determined by the flow speed and the sea surface height maxima. The ecosystem model runs on a nitrogen basis. Unit conversion from nitrogen (μmolN/l) to chl.a (μg-chla/l) is the same way as OY0528. This figure was prepared with matplotlib ver. 3.3.1 in Python ver. 3.7.6.
