Emission spectra of zircaloy-4 sample containing 800 mg/kg of H. A double-pulse orthogonal configuration was used. The second laser was fired 0.5 μs after the first laser. The surrounding He gas pressure was kept constant at 3 kPa. The gate delay and gate width of the detection system were set as 200 ns and 50 μs, respectively, after the initiation of the second laser. Inset shows the full emission intensity of the H I 656.2 nm line.
