Quantitative and qualitative evaluation of autophagy induction. (A,C) Flow cytometry histogram of treated cells in different groups. As were showed in this section, the percentage of positive FITC-conjugated LC3 antibody cells increased from left to right by increasing the induced temperature (P < 0.001). (B) The mean fluorescent intensity of treated groups. Our results showed that in addition to the number of FITC-labeled LC3 antibody-positive cells, the intensity of signals significantly increases by temperature elevation (P < 0.001). (D) Qualitatively evaluation of autophagy by fluorescent microscopy. It was showed that the autophagy levels in the cells increase by induction of PTT. One-Way ANOVA and Tukey post hoc analysis (n = 3). ***P < 0.001.
