Effect of PAW concentration on MDCK viability. Cells were incubated for 20 min with dilutions of PAW-PBS, ranging from 100% to 90% of pure PAW. Cell viability was determined by MMT assay. Absorbance values were used to calculate an exponential curve fitting and to estimate the concentration of PAW-PBS that causes 50% of citotoxicity (CC50).
