Fractional softening versus deformation temperature for Gleeble 3500 double-hit compression testing. The calculated Tnr is 1087 °C using the assumption that Tnr corresponds to 20 pct fractional softening. The dashed region at the top of the fitted sigmoidal curve shows where complete recrystallization was inferred as softening values in excess of 100 pct were obtained.
