Relative quantification of COX-2 (A), NF-kB (B) and iNOS (C) gene expression in mouse colon specimens treated with MIA-690 (1 and 5 μM) and MR-409 (1 and 5 μM), ex vivo (n = 5 for each group of treatment). Data were calculated using the 2-ΔΔCt method, normalized to β-actin mRNA levels, and expressed relative to control (calibrator sample, defined as 1.00). Data are expressed as means ± S.E.M. and analyzed by analysis of variance (ANOVA) followed by Bonferroni post-hoc test *p < 0.05, **p < 0.01, ***p < 0.005 versus LPS; #p < 0.05 versus treatment with MR-409.
