From: Predicting the new carbon nanocages, fullerynes: a DFT study
For better visualization and comparison of fullerenes (Cn), fulleranes (CnHn) and fullerynes (C4nHn) with each other, the graphic models are presented. The symmetry of the fullerane and fulleryne structures is higher than the symmetry of the fullerene structures, and ignoring about 0.3 Å, the changes in the size of the fullerenes can be classified into symmetrical groups of fulleranes and corresponding fullerynes.
