Each trace shown is the average of two recordings obtained from the set of pulse protocols. It is displaced horizontally and vertically from the previous trace. Currents are shown over the cycle time range of 53–62 ms within the pulse protocol in which the voltage step was delivered at 55 ms. (d) Plots of peak current density against test pulse voltage excursion, comparing current–voltage (IV) relationships between the same axes, illustrating a < 12% alteration in maximum peak current following the solution change.
