Relative proportions of enterococci and Enterobacteriales isolates obtained from the bile of gallbladder in acute cholecystitis patients over time. (A) The relative proportion of E. faecium isolates decreased over time, but there was no statistical significance (P = 0.207). (B) Among genera of the order Enterobacteriales, there was a significant increase in the relative proportion of Escherichia (P = 0.008), whereas there were no significant changes in the relative proportions of infections caused by Klebsiella (P = 0.212), Enterobacter (P = 0.637), or other Enterobacteriales (P = 0.162).
