Geometry of the system used in simulations. A ferromagnetic stripe of width w and thickness \(d_2\) is separated from a semi-infinite permalloy film of thickness \(d_1\) by a distance s. The right edges of both layers are aligned at \(x=w\). The whole system is placed in an external magnetic field \(\mu _0 H_0= 0.1\) T parallel to the y axis. The geometry of the system is independent from y.
