From: Sex-dependent differences in the gut microbiota following chronic nasal inflammation in adult mice
Experimental protocol. Mice received repeated bilateral intranasal administration of LPS or saline 3 times per week and were sacrificed at 9 weeks after the first administration. Feces, blood, fresh tissue of spleen were obtained for 16S rRNA and ELISA analyses. Olfactory mucosa (OM) was used for histological analysis.
