Dependences of APCA \(\left(\theta \right)\) and the contact area (S) on the temperature of the supporting surface are depicted. The blue straight line illustrates the linear approximation of the temperature dependence of APCA in the range − 6 °C < t < 22 °C; \(\frac{d\theta }{dT}\cong {10}^{-2}\frac{rad}{K}\) . The contact area S is stabilized at t ≅ − 10 °C, thus evidencing completion of ice crystallization at the contact area.
