Kaplan–Meier curve of the cumulative incidence of the primary endpoint in the original and propensity score-matched cohort of patients with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. The rate of occurrence of the primary endpoint, a composite of cardiovascular death or new-onset heart failure, was higher among women than among men, and this result was concordant with that in the propensity score-matched cohort.
