From: Alloying effect on the order–disorder transformation in tetragonal FeNi
Left panel shows the alloyed \({{\hbox{L1}}}_{0}\,{{\hbox{FeNi}}}_{1-x}M_{x}\) (M = Al, Ti, Cr, Co, Mo) structure (\(\eta = 1\)) and the right panel shows the fully random (fcc) structure (\(\eta = 0\)). Blue atoms are Fe and gray atoms Ni. The letter M and the red part of the atomic sphere indicate the alloying element and its concentration. The convention for the a and c lattice parameters is shown.
