Comparison of simulation in wind field (round blue dots) and field measured wind velocity (square red blocks) at different locations of sand dune (the wind velocity position corresponded to the different distance position in Fig. 1b). The upper right corner showed the wind frequency map of the measured sand dune position. The map was plotted using Matlab 2014a (https://www.mathworks.com) and Surfer 16 (https://www.goldensoftware.com/).
