(B) Heart rate values of the music group reduced significantly from before to the end of the surgery. (C) No significant time-group interaction was revealed for salivary cortisol and therefore no post-hoc tests were calculated, however, descriptively the music group shows lover cortisol values 1 h postoperatively. *p < .05.
