(A) The music group displayed a significant decrease in blood pressure from start to the end of the surgery. (B) Heart rate values of the music group reduced significantly from before to the end of the surgery. (C) No significant time-group interaction was revealed for salivary cortisol and therefore no post-hoc tests were calculated, however, descriptively the music group shows lover cortisol values 1 h postoperatively. *p < .05.
