Morphology of Case 2. Typical morphology of GCTB with osteoclastic giant cells and mononuclear spindle cells (A) neoplastic mononuclear cells with positive H3F3A G34W staining (B) (bar = 100 µm). Staining for Ki-67 shows about 5% positive cells (C). The sarcoma showed presents with polymorphic tumor cells andatypical mitotic figures with necrosis intermingled lace-like neoplastic osteoid intermingled with necrotic bone. An atypical mitotic figure is shown in the insert (D). The sarcoma harboured the H3F3A G34W mutation (E) and had a high rate of Ki-67 (F).
