Proportion of drusen subtypes at different locations. A larger proportion of eyes with soft drusen had drusen located more centrally (within a 500 µm radius circle centred on the fovea) than in the outer areas and conversely, larger proportion of eyes with pachydrusen had drusen located in the outer ring (defined by an area bounded by an inner radius of 1500 µm to the visible extent of the photograph).
