From: Obesity, metabolic health, and urological disorders in adults: a nationwide population-based study

Of the 5,300,646 persons who received health examinations between 2009 and 2016, those aged < 20 years (n = 7,717) or those who were diagnosed with urologic diseases involving voiding dysfunction before the health examination (n = 1,323,141) were excluded. Within 1 year after the health examination, 3,969,788 patients were diagnosed with diseases related to voiding dysfunction and were treated medically or surgically. The final study population consisted of 3,879,449 subjects, except for 90,339 patients with missing values.
