Temperature profiles (°C) of the atmosphere and ocean (colors) taken simultaneously by radiosondes and XBTs along the Brazilian Navy Polar Vessel (Po/V) Almirante Maximiano (H-41) route while crossing the eddy during 18th October 2019. The lower part of this figure also displays the oceanic sounding positions. Wind magnitude (m s-1) in vectors is also displayed, superimposed on the air temperature.
