Sequential close-up images of H2 + CO2 + THP hydrate crystal plates growing in the bulk of liquid water at ΔTsub = 4.8 K under P = 5.08 MPa. The gas composition was H2:CO2 = 0.65:0.35 in mole fraction. The elapsed time after the hydrate nucleation is indicated below each image.
