Time course of cerebral blood flow (CBF, black dots), cardiac output (CO, white dots) and CBF corrected for CO (grey dots). The correction subtracts the increase of CO from the increase of CBF in order to calculate the intrinsic CBF-increasing effect of the study intervention in the cerebral vasculature. The peak increase was noted after 45 min.
