(A) Quantification of Matrigel invasion assay demonstrating that nitrofen (1 μM) significantly reduces the invasive potential of MDA-MB-231-Luc cells. Invasion assay was carried out using 40,000 cells/well, incubated for 24 h. Nitrofen was dissolved in Ethanol to prepare the stock concentration of 100 mM and diluted in DMSO to a final concentration of 1 uM and 10 uM. (B) AlamarBlue cell viability assay done under the same conditions shows that there is no change in relative viability of cells upon treatments. Data representative of 6 separate experiments each done in triplicate. **significantly altered from untreated control p < 0.01.
