(b) Changes in aspartate aminotransferase (AST) and alanine aminotransferase (ALT) activities. (c) Plasma adiponectin concentrations. Feces were collected throughout the day once every two weeks and at the end of the experimental period and total BAs, 12αOH BAs, non-12αOH BAs were measured as described in our previous study8. Plasma samples were isolated from blood collected from the tail veins. The values represent the means with standard errors of mean (SEM; n = 10).
