Gene expression of glucose transporters (GLUTs). Relative gene expression levels of GLUT1 (A and B) and GLUT3 (C and D) were determined by RT-PCR in LPS (1000 ng/mL, open circle and dashed line)- or IL4 (60 ng/mL, closed circle and solid line)-stimulated BV-2 and MG5 cells. The results are presented as the fold change in expression relative to the control group (0 h stimulation) and the means ± SDs of three samples. Statistical differences were analyzed by ANOVA followed by Dunnett's multiple comparison test; *p < 0.05, **p < 0.01 compared with the control.
