Gene expression of mitochondrial complex I subunits. Relative gene expression levels of mitochondrial complex I subunits NADH: ubiquinone oxidoreductase core subunit S2 (NDUFS2, A and B) and NADH: ubiquinone oxidoreductase subunit A2 (NDUFA2, C and D) were determined by RT-PCR in LPS (1000 ng/mL, open circle and dashed line)- or IL4 (60 ng/mL, closed circle and solid line)-stimulated BV-2 and MG5 cells. The results are presented as the fold change relative to the control group (0 h stimulation) and the means ± SDs of three samples. Statistical differences were analyzed by ANOVA followed by Dunnett's multiple comparison test; *p < 0.05 compared with the control.
