Kaplan–Meier survival analysis of stationary DR after PRP. The subgroups were stratified as (A) visual acuity (VA) < 0.505 or ≥ 0.505 and (B) platelet count < 253 or ≥ 253 (103/μl). Kaplan–Meier survival analysis was used to compare the cumulative probability of DR progression between the groups as stratified by the level of VA and platelet count. The VA and platelet count were classified into two groups based on the mean values for the total subjects.
