Quantification of fluorescent nanoparticle agglomerates (fluorescent dots) observed at the striatum or hippocampal formation according to treatment groups (saline vehicle or albumin/PLGA nanosystems functionalized with photoactive compound aluminum chloride phthalocyanine, ALNP + AlClPc, at concentrations of 10 or 20 mg/animal), 1 h post-injection. Data were submitted to Kruskal–Wallis test, followed by Dunn post-test. (*) p < 0.05 and (**) p < 0.001 when compared to vehicle group. N = 5–7.
