Bead halo assay of TrnSR mutants. Examples of the GFP and mCherry fluorescent images used to quantify the binding of six GFP-cargoes (number: 3rd-Z-rank) to the WT and four mutants of GST-mCherry-TrnSR are shown. ROIs used for the quantitation are indicated by white circles. BG-subtracted GFP/mCherry ratios calculated from these image values are also designated in the ROI images. Note that these GFP/mCherry ratios are not normalized by the WT ratio and that they slightly differ from those in Supplementary Tale S2a, which are the means of three images. The GFP images of RPS6KA3 and CPSF6 are enhanced equivalently. Scale bar: 100 µm.
