Membrane tension effects on the frequency response of complex capacitance for positive initial Vh. (A) 0 mmHg, (B) − 10 mmHg. Clear changes, especially in the imaginary component, are noted between the two tensions. These changes are highlighted in (C) where the intersection frequency, Fis, is found to decrease with increases in tension. A shift from 22.1 to 16.8 kHz occurs between the two extremes.
