Time-lapse fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) ratio images of the Michigan Cancer Foundation-7 cells in false colors. Naltriben was added 5 min after the beginning of the experiment. The colored scale bar represents the range of the biosensor FRET/enhanced cyan fluorescent protein (CFP) emission ratios. The warmer the color of the pixel, the higher the Ca2+ concentration reported.
