Diagram of animal experiments. After a 1-week adaptive feeding, mice were randomly divided into four groups: normal diet (ND), high-fat diet (HFD), HFD + Trimetazidine (HFD + TMZ), and HFD + exercise (HFD + EX). 8 weeks later, mice in each group were randomly divided into two subgroups: normal control subgroup and exhaustive exercise (EE) subgroup, the subsequent experiments were performed as the diagram shows.
