Coherence of intra-network activity: group comparison. For the Independent Components (ICs) showing a significant group effect (A), its direction and strength are depicted by the frequency bins reported in the bottom panel (C) (p < 0.025 corrected). A decrease of intra-network coherent activity in AUD patients compared with controls is depicted by a reduction of low frequency spectral power (< 0.1 Hz; blue colour scale), increase of high frequency spectral power (> 0.1 Hz; red colour scale), or both. In the middle panel (B), the line plots of spectral power depict the grand average, across all the significant ICs reported in panels A and C, of mean (± standard error) spectral power along the whole frequency band for AUD patients (pink) and controls (light blue).
